Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These terms and conditions govern the use of services provided by Plumber Websites (“we”, “our”, “us”), operating at plumberwebsites.co.uk. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Scope of Services

We provide web design, development, and search engine optimisation (SEO) services specifically for plumbing businesses in the United Kingdom. The exact scope of work will be agreed upon in writing before any project begins, based on the selected package (Starter, Professional, or Premium).

3. Payment Terms

• A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the one-off build cost is required before work begins.
• The remaining 50% is due upon completion, before the website goes live.
• Monthly hosting and SEO fees are billed on the first of each month and are due within 14 days.
• All prices are quoted in GBP (£) and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.

4. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, you own the website design and content created specifically for your project. We retain the right to use the website in our portfolio for promotional purposes. Third-party assets (fonts, stock images, plugins) remain subject to their respective licences.

5. Revisions

The number of revision rounds included depends on your selected package. Additional revisions beyond the included rounds will be quoted separately. A revision is defined as a set of changes submitted together, not individual change requests.

6. Cancellation

• You may cancel the monthly hosting and SEO service at any time with 30 days written notice.
• If you cancel the build project after work has begun, the deposit is non-refundable and you will be invoiced for any additional work completed.
• Upon cancellation of hosting, we will provide you with all website files within 14 days of your notice period ending.

7. Limitation of Liability

While we take every care to deliver a high-quality service, we cannot guarantee specific results from SEO work, including search engine rankings or traffic volumes. Search engine algorithms are outside our control and change frequently.

Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Website Hosting

We provide managed hosting as part of our monthly packages. While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We perform regular backups and will restore your website in the event of data loss at no additional cost.

9. Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate information about your business, timely feedback on design drafts, and any content or images you wish to include on the website. Delays caused by late provision of materials may extend the project timeline.

10. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises, both parties agree to attempt to resolve it through direct communication first. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
